As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments:
PRE TENANCY:
A holding deposit payable to Cardiff Estates & Lettings equivalent to 1 week’s rent
A bond deposit equivalent to a minimum of 1 month's rent plus £100, which may vary accordingly
DURING TENANCY PAYABLE TO THE AGENT:
Interest charges for any late payment calculated at 3% above the Bank of England base rate for each day that the payment is outstanding 14 days from the due date.
Payment for a breach of the tenancy agreement
DURING TENANCY PAYABLE TO THE PROVIDER IF PERMITTED & APPLICABLE:
Utilities – gas, electricity, water
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax
OTHER PERMITTED PAYMENTS:
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
